Map of the New Fast Flat Mile (clck here for PDF of Map)

 This course is almost a full lap around the center of McInnish Park.  Smooth curves, no U-turns and it's wide.  Last 200 yards is flat and straight. 

This Mile course will be used monthly starting in June 2009.  This will likely also be used for The Carrollton Mile to be scheduled this fall or next spring.

 

Both Mile and 5K courses allow for running tangents.

 

New Map of the Carrollton 5K for 2010 (click here) 

New course redesigned to remove section at the park entrance.  First Mile will be a partial clockwise loop on park road.  Second Mile will be on Elm Fork Road and then return thru the 3 parking lots.  Third Mile will follow a counter-clockwise loop back to the start/finish.

An alternative course with a U-Turn at the last half mile (clockwise finish) may be used if needed.
