This course is almost a full lap around the center of McInnish Park. Smooth curves, no U-turns and it's wide. Last 100 yards is flat and straight (inside parking lot).
This Mile course will be used monthly starting in Feb 2011. Combine your speed training, good weather and a flat course to run your Mile PR's.
Both Mile and 5K courses allow for running tangents.

New course redesigned for 2011 to skip last parking lot at halfway area. Start/Finish will be in the parking lot. First Mile will be a partial clockwise loop on park road. Second Mile will be on Elm Fork Road and then return thru the first 2 parking lots. Third Mile will follow a counter-clockwise loop back to the start/finish(parking lot).

An alternative course with a U-Turn at the last half mile (clockwise finish) may be used if needed.
